Tasting Notes

The art of the winemaker is proven in this golden-coloured Chardonnay where one finds aromas of Mayblossom, citrus fruits, and buttery toast. Nicely balanced palate with great richness to accompany perfectly grilled fish, quiches and white meat. Serve chilled at 11°C.

Soil

Montpeyroux highlands, windy terraces, clay and limestone soil. Mediterranean climate. Facing south-east in the foothills of the Cevennes, below the Larzac highlands, the vineyards are protected from cold winds and frost by Mont Baudile (altitude 848 m/2750 ft) and the Seranne massif.

Winemaking

From vines of 15 years, the grapes are selectionned with good maturity. The must is carefully settled and low fermentation temperature favour freshness, well balance and fruit.
